Marie is a psychologist captivated by Lacanian psychoanalysis. A graduate of PUC-Campinas, Marie also participates in the International Institute of Psychoanalysis (IPP) and maintains ongoing training through the psychoanalytic three-pronged approach: theoretical study, supervision, and personal analysis.
His journey into psychoanalysis began on the couch, where, for over ten years, he has been building his analytical experience. Listening, transference, and the interventions of his analyst were fundamental for new interpretations and movements to emerge—among them, the desire to be an analyst. Today, his purpose is to offer the psychoanalytic experience to those who seek it.
Upon immigrating to France, Marie encountered the experience of being a foreigner. This encounter with this Other—another place, another language, another culture—led her to explore issues related to interculturality, the foreign, and the "unfamiliar strange" that inhabits us. Since then, Marie has welcomed migrants and immigrants around the world, navigating cultures and languages through services in Portuguese, French, and English.
Marie is available for online or in-person consultations at her office in Narbonne, France.
